Tips for a relationship in trouble

Friday, September 11th, 2009

One of the great things in life is love. When you have another person love you, that experience is wonderful.Or being the giver of that love is wonderful just the same.  Life is filled with great relationships. But there are just those times when things go wrong.

A wonderful relationship can go bad. When this occurs you start wondering in your mind what just happened.  Or worse yet leaves you trying to figure out how to get ex back.  It is that point of trying to get your ex back that is excruciating.

There is no worse feeling then to want somebody that doesn’t want you. Whether your goal is how to get ex girlfriend back.It is that horrible feeling regardless.

Or if your goal is how to get ex boyfriend back.  It is just as bad either way.

There is plenty of advice out there.  You can get relationship advice online. You can get advice on relationships from someone such as a counselor.Or you can seek some advice on relationships from a friend.

With quite a lot of people giving advice to help out who do you trust. In a situation like this you need to use common sense.  You want to look and see if you did something wrong.  If you did, then it is easy.Just go ahead and try to make things better.

Where it gets harder is if it is apparent you didn’t do anything wrong.  Then you need to see why your significant other wants out.

If you can find that out then you will know more.  You will be able to tell if it is a situation you can rectify.  Hopefully it is.As long as the communication lines are kept ope it will work. But of course if you guys aren’t communicating it can be hard.

If that is the situation, then you might have to look for help. You could need some professional advice that might help in learning to communicate better. This may well be what helps bring a solution to the problem.

Choosing to Mend a Broken Heart

Monday, September 7th, 2009

As my life experiences have taught me, selecting to fix a broken heart means, taking time to realize what determinations you must make to allow healing to occur. Various years prior to meeting my husband, in the aftermath of another broken relationship I couldn’t help but notice how similar this break up happened my previous relationships. I had to ask myself: “Why do things like this always happen to me?” As I sputtered to come to terms with things, I had to face facts: the one common factor in each situation was me. I was a key contributing factor to the turmoil and eventual demise of all my relationships to-date. In retrospect, I believe it wasn’t until I learned how to mend a broken heart that I was finally able to heal. I steadfastly believe – if it wasn’t for the time I took to learn how to start healing – I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my loving 10-year marriage today. THE FIRST INSIGHT I HAVE FOR THOSE TRYING TO MEND A BROKEN HEART IS THIS – Whether you’re trying to move on or get your ex back, healing is a first step. You see, healing isn’t a passive occurrence. Getting over a breakup takes a commitment on your part to work through the healing process. The following are just a few quick points to help you set out healing: Pain brings with it an opportunity to examine an area of your life that needs some attention. Heartbreak appears repeatedly in your relationships – until you acknowledge and examine the issues underlying them. You see pain brings with it a life lesson you need to learn. Tip #1 to start the healing process is being prepared to solve the issues underlying your hurt and learning the lessons that come with this experience Ill heal your broken heart, Healing a broken heart- are these things bothering you? Don’t worry, you are not the only one who is suffering from pain. There are means to get over it.

Are You Able To Save Your Marriage By Yourself?

Sunday, September 6th, 2009

When a problem arises in your marriage you may be tempted to think you can solve it without any help. Saving a marriage by oneself is not as easy as you may believe. For many people, it is simply impossible.  Most of the time if it’s just you trying to salvage the marriage it will not turn out well. However, there are some instances when saving your marriage alone may work.

What Are The Possibilities?

There are a few instances when saving your marriage alone is possible. One instance when it might be up to you to save your marriage is if the problem is a personal one that has nothing to do with how you feel about your spouse. While I understand this sounds odd, such an example of this would be when you yourself are suffering a personal crisis. A crisis is if you feel like you are no longer in love with your spouse. Instead of letting those feelings fester, if you make an active effort to fall back in love with your spouse, you are saving your marriage alone. Another instance of personal crisis is when the temptation to have an affair is in front of you. When you make the decision to not cheat and to get back on track in your marriage, you are saving your marriage alone.

The Odds Are Against You

You normally need help to save a marriage. We  can take the example of a cheating spouse, an addict or abuser. If you try to fix the problems in your relationship alone and ignore the negative behavior, chances are he or she is going to continue to perpetuate the problems in the marriage. You will not be able to save the marriage by yourself. An excellent and cost effective resource to provide you the necessary assistance is found at Can You Save Your Marriage Alone? I implore you to buy this course if you are struggling with any of the above issues, as it will help you deal with these behaviors as well as guide you in how to bring your partner around.

Another less extreme example is if the two of you feel like you are falling out of love or are just always at each other’s throats. The only way to save a marriage by yourself is to make changes to your behavior. But if you change and your spouse refuses to change, you will simply be living with pent up aggression for the remainder of your time together.

A better thing for you to do here is to share yourself honestly so that your spouse can understand what is missing for you. One must communicate with one’s spouse when trying to save a marriage so that the spouse will know what you are doing – or at least trying.

Ideally, no one should go this course alone. If your partner is not consciously on board to assist in saving the marriage, enlist the advice of qualified counselors, or at a minimum invest a few dollars in an excellent resource to help you through this difficult and often times embarrassing patch in your life. Both you and your marriage are worth it.

Men Hate Shopping! Here’s the Solution!

Friday, September 4th, 2009

I’m a lady who knows how to shop for a dude, and I wrote this for you guys.

When a man enters a shopping mall they get all freaked out. Women become stoked and cherish the thrill of the hunt. Men would rather shovel a barn stall than go shopping. They feel like they’ve been kicked in the huevos. It’s like reading all the books in a law library!

Guys, I’m on your side. I suggest you pour yourself a nice cup of organic coffee and mull through this article. It will bring you happiness for years to come!

A little hint to you girls, if you have something in mind write it down and paste it to your man’s forehead! Keep it simple! Make sure to list the price and places to buy the stuff. Make it abundantly clear to your man where the list is. Include in the list your favorite color, flower, and clothing size you wear (the actual size, not like your drivers license weight.)

Make the list guys!, but, I know you’re guys, so here’s some guidelines. If you are thinking you’ll take the easy way out and buy gift cards – Don’t! Gift cards should only be given to your lady IF she requests them! Clothing is another shopping boner. Unless your lady tells you exactly what clothing (and size) to buy, don’t go there! If you buy clothing too small she’ll feel fat, too big she’ll think you think she’s fat.

Personally, I like to receive flowers with a romantic note promising dinner at a fine restaurant. A gourmet dinner out is ALWAYS a welcome gift. Make sure you think through every detail. You may want to consider reserving a room at a fancy hotel.

Another one of my favorite gifts is a spa treatment, but if you can’t afford a day at the spa then you can always buy her some scented bath salts, romantic candles and a high quality bath robe. For example, there is organic cotton, all the way to fine Egyptian cotton robes. Find the one that best fits your budget.

Still thinking, not quite what you had in mind. You may want to consider candy and coffee. Nearly any woman will melt at the mention of gourmet chocolate and coffee. For a twist you may want to consider Fair Trade chocolates and Fair Trade coffee. If she is a coffee lover consider purchasing her a coffee of the month membership from an online coffee retailer. Coffee clubs are great way to sample through lots of different coffees. I must point out that you must stick with gourmet coffee (no canned stuff) and boxed gourmet chocolates.

Another option is an expensive pen and leather bound planner or journal. No one likes to be without a pen, or be stuck with one that only works intermittently. Even more frustrating is to hunt for a pen, then find one that doesn’t work. If you want to get a really nice pen look for a Montblanc. If you opt for a journal over a planner get one that has plenty of pages, but not so big that she can’t hold it.

Let’s say your woman likes plants, then you can buy her one of her favorites. Flowers like African Violets, and miniature roses both bloom year around and require minimal upkeep. It’s a beautiful, living reminder that you are thinking about your girl.

If you really want to make things easy on yourself, why don’t you just ask your girl what she wants? We all know what we want. Make sure she doesn’t request something too expensive! My previous suggestions can be tweaked to apply to nearly any woman. Make sure that whatever you get your girl, it reflects her desires and needs, not yours. If all else fails, then a framed picture of the two of you will be enough to get you through this holiday.

If you need a quick, NOW solution, then click on gourmet gift baskets for a wide selection of Fair Trade organic coffee and chocolate gift baskets.

Inspiration For Starting A New Life

Friday, September 4th, 2009

If you feel like you have hit a wall i.e you feel the need to start all over again then words of encouragement for women if you are a woman from a sincere heart can help you make the right decision.

There are a variety of reasons why you would need a fresh start. Let me list a few, which you most probably can identify with.

1.    The loss of a loved one: There are also different losses in this category. For example, You can lost a loved one through death, which is one of the hardest things to get over. I remember a friend of mine who lost a loved one about two years ago and up until now he still keeps her images in his cellphone. Sometimes he cries for no apparent reason – I guess it’s when he misses her.

It is possible that you also feel the same way. If it is so then do not let yourself think that you are burying her or him in the past or simply forgetting about him or her. It simply means you are trying to keep the memories and let them inspire you to live the rest of your life.

2.    Starting a new job: learning about how to write an encouragement card and actually coming up with one are a vital aspect of coping in a new office with new people. Let me briefly share my own experience about my first day at work. The one thing I remember about it is how nervous I was. It takes time to get used to a new office. You don’t need to pressurise yourself into “fitting” in so soon. Before you know it you will be comfortable and reaching your full potential at work.

3.    New country: if you have just moved into a new area I can only imagine how tough it must be on your own. One of the keys to feeling comfortable in a new location is to try and go out to meet new people|If you want to get over being home sick then you need to take the first step. You can go to the movies or simply look for inspirational words of sympathy online. Either way, you will forget about where you are for a moment and by the time you come back to reality you will be too strong to be depressed.
